Moms Demand Founder: NRA’s Fight Against Gun Control Is an ‘Attack on Americans’

by Awr Hawkins |  |  Published on August 30, 2016

On August 28, Moms Demand Action founder Shannon Watts reacted to NRA criticism of Hillary Clinton’s gun control plans by suggesting the NRA’s fight against gun control is an “attack on Americans.”

Watts intervened for Clinton via Twitter after the NRA tweeted about the dangers posed by a potential Supreme Court filled with Clinton nominees.

The NRA tweeted: “The attack on #2A is clear. A Clinton SCOTUS would hack away at our #2A rights.” They ended the tweet with “#Guns” and “#NeverHillary.”
